OUR BUSINESS SOLUTIONS TEAM

Building a city bike or cargo bike for your business takes inspiration and a talented team. We're a group of experienced bicycle entrepreneurs who are pioneering the market for city bike and cargo bikes in North America. As a subsidiary of Curbside Cycle, our portfolio is based on 28 years of bicycle retail in Toronto where durability means four-season-weather-resistance meets big-city-tough. We choose our brands carefully and our method is simple: the companies we sell must be experienced, they must have a strong balance sheet, they must be able to support an export market, and they must be used extensively by customers in their homeland. We travel throughout Europe and North America, visiting factories and bike shops, finding what works. A business bike is a serious investment, so we ensure your bike is investment grade.

We're all about deliverables - so much so that we literally also deliver your product. Bikes or fleets of bike are big, and as a subsidiary of Curbside Cycle, we  ship city bikes and cargo bikes to all points in North America using our Ride Out Of The Box service. Your bike will be delivered 100% ready to ride having been assembled and tuned by the most experienced city and cargo bike mechanics in North America.

We also work with some very talented collaborators. Want a custom cargo box? We partner with one of Toronto's finest cabinet builders who built most of the bikes you see in our projects. We collaborate with a local vinyl company who die cuts vinyl decals and does complete vinyl wraps. Finally, we have an in-house graphic designer who can provide mock-ups and consultation. Together, we've built cargo bikes for small coffee companies and large blue chip companies. We've helped create hotel fleets and custom bikes for local events and large fashion chain retailers. We're here to help from A to Z, so please tell us about your project!

LARRY VS HARRY (BULLITT)

Larry vs Harry takes the traditional upright and Dutch-style cargo bike and turns it into a bad-ass high-performance machine that monetizes speed and distance - made to cut around corners without a single corner cut in design. Used by courier companies like Toronto's Sendit Courier to DHL across Europe, these are products of intense devotion that are made for the kind of abuse that only a bicycle courier could inflict. That's Hans in the picture (left) with Eric and Aaron from Fourth Floor.

About Bullitt:

  • The first company to resurrect the Danish-invented "Long John" cargo bike.
  • Started by 'Larry' and 'Harry.' Larry's background is cargo bike design, Harry is an ex-courier - a human partnership of theory and practice.
  • Stiff frames and performance geometry makes for unparalleled handling
  • Multiple drivetrain options in both internal and external including belt drives
  • Powerful Shimano STePS E6001or highly tuned  STePS E8000 kit available.
  • Straight out of Copenhagen, Denmark.

      NIHOLA

The most prolific cargo bike company in Denmark, used by nearly everyone. Nihola builds quality, lightweight, barrier-free trikes that steer independently so that you have the stability of a trike with the handling of a regular bike. (Most three-wheeled bikes like Babboe - excepting the Carve model - require that you steer the whole box). Whether its the x1600 Flex bikes used by the Danish Postal Service to wheelchair accessible bikes, Nihola pushes the envelope of design with made-in-Denmark quality. Pictured is the Fourth Floor team with Nihola owner Niels (in the box) with export manager Daniel.

      About Nihola:

      • Three-wheeled trikes that marry reactive handling with planted stability via patented independent steering
      • Up to 40% lighter than Dutch three-wheeled trikes
      • The official bike of the Danish Post
      • Tons of models for different applications and all easy to customize

        ACHIELLE

We get a lot of requests for custom bikes, whether for small hotel fleets or large orders of custom bikes like our project for Kate Spade, New York. Achielle is one of the few companies making bikes nose-to-tail in continental Europe, and while they build iconic, low-maintenance bikes that your customers will love, they make each bike one-by-one and have been doing so since 1946. That makes lead-times as reasonable as the price, and best of all, there is no minimum order quantity for customization. Pictured is our man Aaron with Jan from Achielle.

        About Achielle:

        • The last company still producing bikes from raw materials to finished product in continental Europe.
        • Family operated since 1946
