SHUTTER PRECISION COMPANY HISTORY: Founded in 2007 as an electronics and digital camera shutter company, Shutter Precision discovered that with the skills and experience in the careful and precise mechanics of a camera, they could delve into the production of highly efficient dynamos as well (being avid riders themselves certainly facilitated this move). The innovations started to snowball and after it's first release in Taipei they took home design and innovation awards from every show they attended. European lighting companies picked up on this and SP was certified in Germany and around Europe in accordance to the regulation of light output, StVZO. SP has secured its position in the dynamo lighting realm by continually innovating and staying tuned to the needs of riders globally.
